Among so many interesting news of anime on the Internet, one caught our attention the most. Apparently, the Korean web novel, ‘Tower of God’ is getting an anime adaptation very soon.

It’s so exciting because it’s not everyday that we get to see manhwas turned into anime adaptations. For the most part, they’re remade into live-actions or dramas. And given that they’re given less attention compared to their Japanese counterpart, mangas.

We know you’re excited for the details, so here’s everything we know so far:

Lee Jong-hwu or SIU’s ‘Tower of God’ will premiere in Spring of 2020. A teaser was already posted on the official website of the comic featuring the two main characters.

However, details such as the voice cast and production team are not yet revealed.

English translation: “If you climb the tower, you will get everything. At the top of the tower, there is everything in the world, and you can get this world……become a God. This is a story about the beginning and end of Laheru, a girl who climbs the tower to see stars, and Yoru, a boy who doesn’t need anything if he can have her.”

‘Tower of God’ follows the story of Bam entering a legendary tower to look for a girl named Rachel. Throughout his journey, he’s faced with countless adversities including clearing tests for every level of the tower.

And ICYMI, this novel was first seen on NAVER WEBTOON in 2010. Since then it has been been translated into 28 languages and has collected 4.5 billion views worldwide.
