The most iconic toddlers are back, 30 years after the world first met them.

Brace yourselves for a brand-new series of adventures led by Tommy Pickles, Chuckie Finster, Angelica Pickles, Susie Carmichael and Phil and Lil DeVille.

Rugrats, a Nickelodeon television series, is getting rebooted as an all-new CG-animated series, set to premiere on Paramount+ this 2021. Paramount+ is a new streaming service by Paramount, slated to be available sometime in March.

For those who are not familiar, Rugrats, which premiered on August 11, 1991, follows the daily lives of the aforementioned toddlers. With the characters’ innocence and wild imaginations, their experiences turn into fun adventures. Ending in 2004, the show’s 13-year run consists of a total of 192 episodes over nine seasons.

While a reboot announcement alone could excite ’90s kids who grew up with the Rugrats, it was also revealed that the original cast will be reprising their roles in the 2021 version.  This means we’ll get to see once again the baby versions of E.G. Daily (Tommy), Nancy Cartwright (Chuckie), Cheryl Chase (Angelica), Cree Summer (Susie) and Kath Soucie (Phil and Lil).

The Rugrats reboot is spearheaded by Nickelodeon Animation, who says, “Rugrats is one of the most iconic cartoons recognized by fans around the globe, and this original version is one we are taking great care and pride in creating for a brand-new audience.”

“Having the voice cast behind these special characters come together is one of the essential pieces to making the show recognizable and we can’t wait to watch this talented group bring them to life again,” the studio adds.
