Brace yourself for another nostalgic ride back to your childhood days!

A much-deserved revival of Hiroyuki Takei’s Shaman King manga franchise is set to premiere in April 2021. This massive return of the enormously popular 2000’s anime was announced on Shaman King’s official website.

The new Shaman King anime will adapt all 35 volumes of the famous manga, which was published in Japan’s Weekly Shonen Jump way back in 1998 until it was canceled in 2004 and reprinted under its new title ‘Shaman King Kang Zeng Bang’ in 2008. Shaman King tells the adventures of Yoh Asakura as he trains to become the Shaman King by winning the Shaman Fight.

The manga was adapted into an anime in 2001 and ran for 64 episodes. Since by that time, the manga’s storyline was still incomplete, the show had to create its own ending. Shaman King aired on Philippine TV before.
