It looks like our favorite underwater sponge from Bikini Bottom is getting a new series starring his 10-year-old self! And you’ll be seeing it real soon.

‘Kamp Koral’  will focus on a young SpongeBob and his adventures in an overnight camp called Kamp Koral. According to Nickelodeon, there will be 13 episodes in the first season.

Even more exciting news is that the original voice cast will be coming back including Tom Kenny (SpongeBob), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick), Rodger Bumpass (Squidward), Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs), Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy), and Doug Lawrence (Plankton), and Mrs. Puff (Mary Jo Catlett)!

So this means we’ll be seeing SpongeBob and the whole gang together! And as Nickelodeon confirmed, they will do all sorts of weird and wild things like “building underwater campfires, catching wild jellyfish, and swimming in Lake Yuckymuck at the craziest camp in the kelp forest, Kamp Koral.”

Kamp Koral‘ will also debut new characters voiced by Carlos Alazraqui from ‘Rocko’s Modern Life’ and Kate Higgins from ‘Naruto’ and ‘Sonic’.

But this got us sorts of questions in mind. “Do SpongeBob and his friends already know each other even before?”, “Will he be still wearing his iconic suit and tie?”, and “Who are these new characters?” Luckily, we’ll be finding out soon as the show will premiere this July!
