Maitreyi Ramakrishnan will reprise her role as an overachieving high school student Devi. The character is a modern-day Indian American who’s spontaneous life choices get her into complicated situations. Aside from the wonderfully diverse cast, the show is known for its relatable teenage dilemmas about figuring out who you are, trying to fit in, and falling in love.

The coming-of-age comedy series is co-created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, who serves as a writer, executive producer, and showrunner.

Season 2 will of course return alongside Poorna Jagannathan (Nalini Vishwakumar), Richa Moorjani (Kamala), Jaren Lewison (Ben Gross), Darren Barnet (Paxton Hall-Yoshida) and Lee Rodriguez and Ramona Young.

Go ahead and binge-watch the first season if you haven’t already yet! Tune in to us for more updates.
