Winter is coming, and so is Rose Leslie’s first baby with her husband, Kit Harington.

The real-life couple who played the star-crossed lovers on Game of Thrones revealed on Saturday that they are pregnant with their first child. Rose Leslie, known as the gritty warrior Ygritte of the Emmy-winning HBO series, made a rare appearance in the issue of UK’s Make Magazine, flaunting her baby bump in a Stella McCartney dress.

Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie began stirring up relationship rumors way back in 2012. The couple split for a while, only to reconcile and officially confirm their relationship in 2016. They eventually married in 2018.

While Rose didn’t discuss the juicy details of her pregnancy, she told Make that she and her husband have been spending quality time together in their Tudor-style home in East Anglia, jokingly referring to it as “the house that Jon Snow built.”

“It’s incredibly old. We have a thatched roof, which currently has an enormous hornet’s nest in it. I do love to think about the house and all the people who have lived there. Were they happy, how did they live? All the families passing under those ancient beams,” shared the 33-year-old Scottish actress.

“What a glorious thing to be able to run to the countryside and recoup. It’s a great privilege to be surrounded by greenery, birdsong and hedgerows, and our delightful neighbours. It’s so peaceful,” she added.

Game of Thrones reached its epic conclusion in 2019, 8 long years after it premiered on TV. Following the massive success of the show, the network announced a year later a prequel series titled “House of the Dragons,” which is based on George R. R. Martin’s Fire and Blood and will be set 300 years before the events in Game of Thrones. HBO has yet to reveal any major details, but the network is targeting a 2022 release date.
