As of writing, this information is nothing more than a rumor. But hey, anything and everything about Shrek is worth diving into.

As the anticipation for Fornite Season 6 continues to fire up, leaks and rumors have been springing up all over the internet. And one of the more popular speculations is the upcoming arrival of the popular swamp giant in the game.

That’s right! The sky is the limit when it comes to Fortnite doing collaborations. It’s almost like no pop culture icon is spared from the game’s round-the-clock drive to provide its players with a fun, dynamic, and unique gaming experience. That being said, Shrek, the universe’s most popular ogre, is rumored to be having a crossover with Epic Games’ most popular Battle Royale.

According to a thread on Reddit, Fortnite players have received a survey from Epic Games trying to get their opinions about hypothetical crossovers with various film, TV, and video game characters. The survey includes the likes of Lady Dimistrecu from Resident Evil, Scooby-Doo, Jim Halpert from The Office, and Donkey, among many others that would seem too wild to appear in a battle royale. The names that have made it to the list basically give you an idea of how far Epic Games can go in the name of improvement (and novelty!).

Check out a portion of the survey below.

As exciting as this information may seem, Epic Games has yet to make an official statement so it’s still best to take it with a grain of salt. But honestly speaking, it’s a big list of franchises we have in the survey but Shrek is the only one that matters. After all, nothing else in the world matters more than Shrek. To borrow an age-old adage, Shrek is love, Shrek is life.
