So today’s news is pretty out of the blue. Pornhub just released its year-end report for 2019 and we don’t know what to feel about the results. Find out more here:

From its kawaii culture, scrumptious dishes, and let’s not forget about its iconic anime, we Filipinos, can’t help but get hooked on all things Japanese. However, it looks like these aren’t the only ones we’ve taken to a liking. On Wednesday, Pornhub officially released its year-end review and one of the top searches in PH is apparently “hentai”.

According to Pornhub, “‘pinay’ and ‘hentai’ remained the most searched for terms in the Philippines in 2019.'” Well, it isn’t much a surprise because shortly following these two is “Japanese.” And to support our love for all things Japanese is that searches with biggest rank changes included “Japanese uncensored” up 48 along with “massage” up 26.

All in all, “Japanese” and “hentai” were hailed as our country’s top categories. Although it’s not something to celebrate about, we just wanted to let you know for future purposes.

Despite this, “pinay” still comes in first position showing that our Pinoy pride is still intact. Agree? And not only that, it looks like the “korean” category is also making its way up to the top as it gained a 188% increase in views when compared to the rest of the world.

Who run the world?

Meanwhile, we also placed first in Pornhub’s list of female visitors. Among Pornhub’s top 20 traffic countries, the Philippines together with Brazil had the highest female proportions at 39%, followed by 36% in Mexico and Argentina. Australia, Poland, and Sweden. And to that, we say, who run the world? Girls!
