Dear viewers, hello! This is an announcement. The trailer has been already released for BoJack Horseman‘s sixth and last season!

If you aren’t aware of the sad news, the upcoming season of BoJack Horseman is already the sixth and the last. We haven’t come to terms with the idea of it yet, but we think we still aren’t ready for the series to end!

Last season, we have seen BoJack finally enter rehab with the intention to get better. After lots of disturbing and traumatic incidents, he at last realized that he needed help. As the creators release the trailer for season 6, we take a peek into how BoJack has progressed and how his life has been ever since.

Finally, a happy BoJack (?)

During the last 5 seasons, we have seen BoJack go through a lot of depressing moments in his life. We have learned about how he is as a horse, and why he grew up to be that way.

We have witnessed the death of Sarah Lynn, the story of Hollyhock, and his conflicts with his mom. Moreover, we can’t deny how those also made an impact on our personal perspectives in life.

However, in this trailer for the season 6 of our beloved Netflix series, we kinda hear happiness in BoJack’s voice. He actually sounds contented with his life as he narrates his letter to Diane. Because of this, we got really emotional thinking that it is about time for him to be happy.

In the photo above, we see him sporting a reluctant smile as he takes care of flowers. We have also heard from the narration that he is doing more therapeutic things – such as writing letters.

Speaking of, here are some important things that BoJack said in his message to Diane.

Every time someone leaves rehab, they still think about your own progress. I bought into this idea that I was a thing that couldn’t be changed. The main thing I think about is how stupid I am that I didn’t do this sooner.

I wasted so many years being miserable because I assumed that was the only way to be. I don’t want to do that anymore.

BoJack’s realizations are undeniably spot on. Because of it, we understand more how he used to feel in dealing with himself. Honestly, we have felt frustrated again and again with his reluctance to get help, but we finally understand his side.

With that, we also understand more about how people with the same mental health issues think and react. Ugh, the impact of this series!

The depth of his character is also just amazing with the way he had developed through the seasons. So we just couldn’t wait to see what would happen to him in and out of rehab!

Diane, Mr. Peanutbutter, Todd, and Princess Carolyn

As for the other characters, we also see in the trailer how they were struggling with their own lives.

Princess Carolyn is now busy with her own baby; Diane is questioning certain things in her life; Todd is confronted with some news about his mother; and Mr. Peanutbutter realizes he may actually be depressed.

Like BoJack, these characters have been through a lot. Whatever challenges they face though, we are just really rooting for them all!

BoJack Horseman’s final season will be divided into Part 1 and Part 2. These will be released on October 25 this year and January 31 next year, respectively. I don’t know about you, but we feel very thrilled for this! Also, you may think we’re joking but we legit already feel all the imminent tears that we would shed soon.
