Not when FEU has just bagged the award for having the best and cleanest toilet facilities among schools and universities in the Philippines! #TheseAreTheThingsThatMatter

They’ve beaten out Miriam College, as well as UP Diliman in the running for the best and cleanest toilet facilities among schools and universities. Not only that, FEU also won the People’s Choice Award by amassing 10,000 votes on social media from November 12 to 15.

The university acknowledged the win by commemorating it with a Facebook post on their official page. Check it out below:

So ICYDK what the Golden Kubeta Awards is, it’s an awareness and education campaign by Maynilad called the ‘Kubeta PH’. Its aim is to start up the conversation for proper wastewater management, and why it’s important. As well as the goal of creating a standard or norm for clean and comfortable public restrooms.

According to Page One PH, Maynilad President and CEO Ramoncito S. Fernandez hopes that:

“All of you will also be our partners in spreading the gospel of proper wastewater management. Our collective effort in ensuring that wastewater is properly treated before being discharged to different bodies of water will ensure a better future for the next generation.”

So congratulations to the FEU Tamaraws for winning this year’s Golden Kubeta Awards! And kudos, for choosing to be a part of advocating for proper wastewater management. As well as creating a standard for clean and comfortable public restrooms.

Do you think FEU deserved to win the Golden Kubeta Awards 2019? Or was Miriam College’s entry better? Or perhaps UP Diliman’s? We’d love to hear what you think! So share with us your thoughts in the comments down below! Or hit us up on our Facebook or Twitter @UDoUPh.
