Prepare your tissues because we are going back to being emotional train-wrecks. People, check out this deleted scene from the ‘Avengers: Endgame‘!
It has been months since the final installment for Marvel’s Avengers came out in the cinemas. So obviously, it has also been months since our hearts were broken from the death of Tony Stark. We can’t deny that it was a heartbreaking but fitting end to the heroes’ conflict with Thanos, however Tony’s death was really hard to accept initially. What more if the deleted scene with an all grown-up Morgan, his daughter, was shown?
The emotional father-daughter scene
Apparently, with the addition of Avengers: Endgame in the new Disney+, some deleted scenes were actually revealed by the creators of the film. More notably, there was one scene where a dead Tony meets his all grown-up daughter Morgan, played by ‘13 Reasons Why‘ actress, Katherine Langford. Watch it below.

The scene is emotional, yep. However, we should also admit that their interaction also feels a bit bleak. For this reason too, The Russo Brothers decided not to include this scene in the final cut. Read Anthony Russo’s explanation below.
“Because this adult version of Morgan, his daughter, was never in the film, as we would watch it in post we started to feel like we didn’t have a lot of emotional connection, even though this is a wonderful actor, to the character because we’d never seen her before.”
To be frank, we will agree that they made the right choice not including that clip in the movie. Some fans really liked it though. Check out their thoughts expressed through tweets below.
