After 6 long years, it is finally back! Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera is back in Manila. And fans are going gaga over the new cast that will personify our favorite characters.

On the last few months of 2018, it was announced that The Phantom of the Opera is back to take the stage in Manila. The musical has announced the last remaining casts for their much-awaited Asian tour. They will be visiting the Philippines and performing one of the greatest musical of all time. It will be starting on February 20, 2019, at the Solaire Theatre.
It’s definitely a dream come true for Filipino fans since it has been too long. Also, with the Asian Tour of the musical happening, they’ve found the best actors to bring life to it. The musical The Phantom of the Opera tells the tale of Christine who is mesmerized by the disfigured musical genius, “The Phantom”, who haunts Paris Opera House.
Jonathan Roxmouth will remain as the Phantom. The company revealed that he will be joined by Meghan Picerno who will perform as Christine Daaé and Matthew Leisy as Raoul.
To complete the main casts, James Borthwick will be playing Monsieur Firmin and Curt Olds as Monsieur André. On the other hand, Melina Kalomas will perform as Madame Giry, Kiruna-Lind Devar as Meg Giry and Beverly Chiat as Carlotta Guidicelle. Thabiso Masemene will be playing as Ubaldo Piangi and Sebastian Zokoza as Don Atillio.
