Get ready for another spine-chilling movie by Stephen King with ‘In the Tall Grass’ coming soon on Netflix!

We’re lucky enough to have been blessed by Stephen King with his iconic horror novels like ‘It’, ‘The Shining’, ‘The Institute’, and so many more. And we’re even luckier by witnessing some of these great novels on the big screen. His latest addition to some of his movie-turned-novels is ‘In the Tall Grass’, written in 2009 and co-authored by his son, Joe Hill. But here’s the catch, it’s not your usual horror film because–well–it’s about grass. Not just a normal grass but shockingly evil grass–now that’s something.

‘In the Tall Grass’ focuses on two siblings who entered a field of tall grass in hopes of rescuing a boy, but they soon realize they cannot escape. So you’re probably asking, “How does the grass come into play in this horror film?” Well, it’s a conscious supernatural maze from which there is no escape.

Another thing we’re looking forward to is Patrick Wilson as one of the main characters of the movie. He is famous for his role in ‘Insidious’, ‘The Conjuring’, and ‘Annabelle Comes Home’–all great horror movies. Along with him will be Laysla De Oliveira, Harrison Gilbertson, Rachel Wilson, and more!

According to reports, the movie first took form when Director Vincenzo Natali wanted to do a film adaption of ‘In The Tall Grass’ as early as 2015 when he announced:

“Who would think that grass could be frightening? Trust Stephen King and Joe Hill to find a way. They have transformed an otherwise innocuous Kansas field into a stage for some of the most disturbing horror fiction I have ever read.”

However, the project was on a rough start until May 2018 when Netflix purchased the film rights of ‘In the Tall Grass’ and assigned Vincenzo Natali as director, who also wrote the adapted screenplay.
