After 10-years in the music industry, Selena Gomez finally nabs the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 with her new single ‘Lose You to Love Me’!
So congratulations Selena Gomez for nabbing the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100! After 10 years, since she first released her EP ‘Another Cinderella Story’ in 2009, her single is now a chart-topper! You’ve got to admit that ‘Lose You to Love Me’ really does deserve it. Because not only is it relatable AF, it’s also so real and so raw.
Selena Gomez commemorated her achievement with an Instagram post yesterday. Where she shared her deepest gratitude to everyone who listened. As well as those who were part of this momentous occasion in her life.

My first number 1!! This song is so dear to my heart. I’ve been working so hard to make this album as honest and fun as possible while remaining vulnerable enough to share where I am in life. I love you deeply and thank you so much for listening. I want to thank each and every person that was apart of this moment that I’ll never forget!
But TBH, her other singles deserved better!
In her 10-year music career, we just feel the need to say that there were a couple of singles from her that people shouldn’t have slept on. In total, Selena Gomez has 18 singles as the lead artist, including ‘Lose You to Love Me’ and ‘Look at Her Now‘. Although two of her songs did place at #5 on the charts namely, ‘Good For You’ in 2015 and ‘Same Old Love’ in 2016. We just feel like ‘The Heart ants What It Wants’ and ‘It Ain’t Me’ could have done better.
Anyways, if you haven’t watched the MV for ‘Lose You to Love Me’ yet, you can watch it right here!
Once again, congratulations Selena Gomez for finally nabbing the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100! You deserve it! We’re definitely hoping for more music from her soon. How about you?
