The Grammy nominations are in! But what’s this, none for BTS?

We are confident in saying that this is the biggest snub we’ve seen from the Grammy Awards. Because BTS did not receive a single Grammy nomination, despite the records they’ve broken all year. And people are now saying that the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards is rigged.

After last year’s Grammys, you would think that BTS would at least get one nomination for the 2020 Grammys! Especially since BTS were special guests at this year’s awards. And the suits they wore are also currently on display at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles. So was that all for show?

Even fans of BLACPINK, are shocked and outraged! Especially since just recently, BLACKPINK is the first K-Pop group to reach a billion views on YouTube!

Yikes! ARMY is in a terrible mood! And we can’t blame them…

Needless to say, fans of BTS all over the world are in an uproar. A lot of them are majorly upset that there were no Grammy nominations for BTS. And some were even accusing the institution of using the ARMY’s potential anger as a marketing ploy. Even Halsey, who BTS had collaborated with for ‘Boy With Luv’ commented on the issue. And well, they’re not wrong. Especially since ARMY can make anything trend.

So here are some Tweets we came across about the issue:

Overall, we genuinely feel that there is a lack of appreciation for foreign acts in the Grammys. But to make it short, BTS deserved at least one nomination. Especially since Map of the Soul: Persona has sold 3.2 million copies in the first month it was released. And is currently the best-selling album of all time in South Korea. But we’re also not fazed, we believe that BTS’ music will leave its mark in the world with or without awards.

So were you also upset that there were no Grammy nominations for BTS? We’d love to hear what you think! So share with us your thoughts in the comments down below! Or hit us up on our Facebook or Twitter @UDoUPh.
