Riverdale and To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before fans unite! Our favorite stars Camila Mendes and Noah Centineo join forces in Netflix’s The Perfect Date and it’s perfect!

Netflix dropped the trailer of their newest rom-com movie, ‘The Perfect Date’, that’s airing this April. It stars two of the most beloved stars that graced the streaming service company, our favorite heiress Camila Mendes and the boy-next-door Noah Centineo.

Noah plays the role of Brooks Rattigan, a high school student aspiring to experience the luxurious side of life. Drive a sports car, date his wealthy and gorgeous dream girl and go to Yale University after graduation. But not everything gets handed to us. So he had to work hard and save money to fund his college dreams. But it gets a bit easier after he gets paid for chaperoning Celia Lieberman (Laura Marano) to a school dance. What if he becomes a stand-in boyfriend or chaperone for the ladies out there?

And he does. With the help of his tech-savvy best friend, Murph ( Odiseas Georgiadis), Brooks creates an app called “The Stand-In”. People get to rent him for a day and have him be whatever kind of boyfriend they want him to be. A cowboy, an art connoisseur, a tennis player—you name it! And while he’s at it, he tries to woo his dream girl, the rich girl Shelby Pace (Camila Mendes). However, things go south as Brooks finds himself spiraling out of control of his identity and his feelings for Celia and Shelby.

‘The Perfect Date’ isn’t just about love and the crazy world outside high school. But it will also teach us how important self-discovery is and how accepting yourself contributes to the life you will be leading ahead. And who’s the better person to teach that other than Noah Centineo and the gang right?

Netflix will release ‘The Perfect Date’ on April 12. So better mark your calendars and binge-watch like crazy this upcoming movie.
