If there is a K-pop group that has been garnering more fans and the media’s attention recently, it’s surely MAMAMOO.
Since their recent win in the Mnet TV show Queendom, MAMAMOO did nothing but slay everyone. With their new hit ‘HIP‘ and their amazing performance at the 2019 Mnet Asia Music Awards, they are turning around every head of every person who gets to watch them perform confidently.
Honestly as long-time stans of the group, we have been aware of how greatly talented Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein and Hwasa are as idols already. So now that the group is getting more attention and coverage, we honestly have mixed feelings about this fact. However, we also need to admit that MAMAMOO getting more famous in other countries other than Korea is a good thing for the group.
Also, it may be a good thing for us fans because just maybe, we might just have a MAMAMOO concert in the Philippines soon.
A concert for Filipino MooMoos
Honestly, we don’t have the good news that you all want to hear yet. But please, hang on just a little bit and read this article to the end. If you are a part of Stan Twitter, you might be familiar with K-pop correspondent Chingu to the World. And if you are, then there is a big chance that you might have stumbled upon the tweet below.
Yung performance talaga nila with JYP ang nagdala ng awards night eh. Flex naman natin sila magpunta here sa pinas chingus. Join the survey on the article https://t.co/vyg7PKAO4R @MamamooPhils #mamamoo

Moreover if you check the tweet, there is a link to an article and within it, another link to a survey asking if people want to see MAMAMOO in Manila. The survey also asks about where people prefer the concert to be held, what tickets they are willing to buy, etc. So if you are interested in seeing the girls soon (hopefully in 2020), simply click here to answer the survey.
Yes, there is no guarantee that a concert will be held if enough people answer. However, Philippine concert promoters and producers may just be able to make it happen if we voice out all our wishes adequately. It is a big bummer that the supposedly 2019 concert was cancelled, but hopefully in 2020 we would finally get to see the hip queens soon.
