‘My ID is Gangnam Beauty’ Korean actor Cha Eun-woo serenaded his fans last Saturday night at the New Frontier Theater with Ben&Ben’s ‘Kathang Isip’ and it had us dying! Literally!
In a video taken by Gia Allana, a content creator for Korean entertainment events in the Philippines, it showed Cha Eun-woo’s lovely voice and him trying his best to sing in Tagalog for his fans.
And that’s not all! Cha Eun-woo also blessed us with him trying to speak Filipino phrases and expressions, such as “Mahal kita” and “Pak na pak.”
He’s famously known for his role in the Korean series, ‘My ID is Gangnam Beauty’. He plays Kyung Seok, your above-average guy who has the looks and the money. But he also charms us with his golden heart when he falls in love with Mi-Rae, despite her “plastic surgery” appearance.
Cha Eun-woo is also starring in the K-drama, ‘Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung’. It’s about a free-spirited woman, Goo Hae-ryung (Shin Se-kyung) who pursues her dream as a court historian. While Cha Eun-woo plays the role of the lonely prince Lee Rim who’s working as an underground romance novelist. The chemistry between Cha Eun-woo and his co-star Shin Se-kyung is to die for!
Oh! And did we mention he’s part of a Korean boy band called, Astro?
