PSA for Theater Fans: a ‘Hamilton’ Movie Will Come Out in 2021!

In case you need something to look forward to for the next year, even though we’re not even half into 2020 yet, well how about a ‘Hamilton‘ movie?

How does a bastard, orphan, son of a whore and a Scotsman go from the theater stage to the cinemas? Because apparently, the award-winning rap musical “Hamilton” will be making its way from Broadway to movie theaters all over the world! After making its successful debut back in 2015, we would finally get to watch it ourselves soon.

If you need to confirm for yourself though, just check out the tweet from the creator, playwright and original Broadway actor for “Hamilton” himself, Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Yes, as you can see ladies and gentlemen, this upcoming “Hamilton” movie will be a filmed live performance at the Richard Rodgers Theatre so we would get to see the musical for ourselves! This is a really amazing chance for theater fans nationwide too who just couldn’t get a chance to go to Broadway themselves to see it live.

Of course, watching the actors perform live in front of us is still a different experience, but on another positive side note, this is also an amazing opportunity to introduce theater plays to a wider audience. “Hamilton” will be distributed by Disney and it will be out next year, on October 15, 2021. If we were you, we would honestly mark our calendars right now for this soon-to-be historical moment.

Look around at how lucky we are to be alive right now!

We don’t know about you, but we’re really excited about this one–and we should just say, we feel really satisfied! Likewise, a lot of musical theater fans who haven’t got the chance to watch “Hamilton” live on Broadway think so too. Check out some tweets of the rap musical’s fans below.
