Who you gonna call? We hope you have the same answer as us because they are returning soon: the Ghostbusters!
If ever you weren’t alive yet before the 90s (like us), there is a big chance that you have no idea about the Ghostbusters. It may be hard to admit because of the know-it-alls that we tend to be like, but come on, we don’t know everything. However, throughout popular culture and their iconic saying, there is also a slight chance that you might have at least heard of them. Does “who you gonna call? Ghostbusters!” perhaps ring a bell?
If it fortunately does, or you just want to hear it again or hear what it is all about, dance with us as we listen to Ray Parker Jr.’s iconic ‘Ghostbusters’ song.
Now why are we bringing this up though? Well, it is because a trailer for a brand new ‘Ghostbusters’ movie have just been released! Moreover, it continues the 1989 sequel that a lot of people loved. Yes, we will just completely disregard the 2016 ‘Ghostbusters’ reboot film–that didn’t happen at all.
Take a look at the trailer of the movie that’s keeping a lot of people talking. Honestly, it is really something that we should all look forward to. Other than being directed by the son of the original franchise’s creator, ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife‘ is really interesting in a lot of ways. Moreover, if you like Stranger Things, you would surely like the vibe that this upcoming movie has.

Even if we honestly haven’t watched the original ‘Ghostbusters’ and ‘Ghostbusters II’ yet, we totally enjoyed all the small references to those past movies. If you were paying attention to the lines of Paul Rudd’s character, you would hear him say “there hasn’t been a ghost sighting in 30 years”. And honestly, that line left us all (most especially hardcore fans) satisfied.
Directed by Jason Reitman, son of Ivan Reitman, the film stars Finn Wolfhard, McKenna Grace, Carrie Coon, Paul Rudd and more. Moreover, the original cast Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd and Sigourney Weaver are also apparently in for a badass reunion this coming 2020.
Are you looking forward to it? Because we honestly are. Also, what do you think of the trailer for this upcoming new movie?
