This weekend, one of the biggest award-giving bodies in the music industry will happen. And there in the 2020 Grammy Awards, BTS will be coming back to perform.

In case you missed it, BTS (except Suga who was nowhere to be found) has been spotted alongside Ariana Grande yesterday. Posing for a photo uploaded to the latter’s Instagram account, Ariana Grande‘s post boasts with the caption that she just apparently “bumped” into the boy group as seen below.

With this, we can assume that the rehearsal she is referring to is for the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards happening this weekend. And although BTS hasn’t been nominated in any category, it has been confirmed that they will be back for the show. This time, they will be on-stage to perform for the audiences – becoming the first-ever Korean act to do so.

Still, this is really exciting for the group, especially because they themselves announced last year that they will be back. If you need something to refresh your memory, just watch as BTS’s leader RM speak for the entire group.

Satisfyingly enough, they are really back. Moreover, it seems that we would get to witness them perform for a very special collab segment at this year’s Grammys.

Old Town Road All-Stars

In case you didn’t know, last 2019 RM was featured in a remix for Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road”. Yes, it’s not just a meme! But if you need to confirm and make sure for yourself, you could freely listen to “Seoul Town Road” by simply playing the video clip below.

Because of this, BTS has also been included in a very special “Old Town Road All-Stars Segment” for the 2020 Grammys where featured artists in the different versions will perform alongside Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus. So other than the two main artists mentioned, BTS will be performing with other special guests.

Honestly though, we don’t know what to expect from their performance. All we know is that when they appear on the stage, they would surely conquer it. We are hella excited so we hope you tune in too when the Grammy Awards take place, Monday morning in Manila time.

What do you think of this article though? Are you looking forward to the Grammy Awards that will take place over this weekend? Also, what are your thoughts on BTS performing “Old Town Road” live?
