With the release of the teaser trailer for ‘Black Widow’, the MCU’s Phase 4 is finally starting to set itself up!
When the third phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe concluded with the coming out of ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home‘, we superhero fans felt like it was truly the end of an era. However, with the release of the teaser trailer for ‘Black Widow‘ yesterday, our hearts lit up once again with the promise of more. MCU Phase 4 is finally coming to life and we couldn’t be more excited!
Meanwhile, it goes without saying that Marvel really doesn’t disappoint. The teaser trailer for Scarlett Johansson’s character, Black Widow, is engaging and thrilling. After her shocking and unacceptable death in ‘Avengers: Endgame‘, we were also just super stoked to see her back in action.
But in case you haven’t watched it yet or just want to see it again with us, here is the teaser trailer for ‘Black Widow’!
So many things to look forward to… and we can’t help but just scream internally.
Meet the family of Natasha Romanoff
In Marvel’s timeline, ‘Black Widow’ is a prequel that takes place after the events of ‘Captain America: Civil War’. We were all wondering about the mysterious past of Natasha (or Nat) and finally, we’re going to get some answers soon.
However, the hype we felt wasn’t just because of Natasha or Scarlett Johansson’s character. Because within the short teaser trailer, we were able to take a glimpse into her relationships with other important characters.
We see Nat fighting with someone who is apparently her sister Yelena (played by Florence Pugh); we see Stranger Things‘ David Harbour flexing his body and dressing up in his Red Guardian clothes; and we see Rachel Weisz completing the seemingly badass Russian family as the Iron Maiden.
Aside from that, there was a short second revealing the antagonist for the movie, Taskmaster. However, we were too busy geeking out on the beautiful family of Nat that we barely took note of that fact. Because like the father Alexei said,
“Family… back together again.”
And honestly, those words were enough. We already feel excited as hell and we just can’t wait for the film to hit the theaters next year!
How about you though? What do you think of the teaser trailer for Black Widow and what were the parts that made you more excited the most? Like us, are you looking forward to fourth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
