ICYMI, our favorite long-time running primetime teleserye just got big! Ang Probinsyano is now on Netflix ready for you to binge watch!

This is not a drill! A few hours earlier, it has come to everyone’s attention that ‘Ang Probinsyano’ dropped on Netflix. Under the international title ‘Brothers’, Netflix dropped a massive 50 episode release for its first season.

Currently, ‘Ang Probinsyano’ is now at its seventh season and that’s a hundred episodes away from the pilot. However, 50 episodes is a lot so you can definitely enjoy the early days of ‘Ang Probinsyano’ before you catch up.

As of now, ‘Ang Probinsyano’ has been running for almost 3 years. It stars one of the hottest local male celebrities, Coco Martin. He plays the titular role of Ricardo “Cardo” Dalisay. It follows the story of Cardo who takes the place of his dead twin brother Ador in the police force. He decides to find the culprits and avenge his brother’s death after he was betrayed and killed in a buy-bust operation. However, it appears that there’s more to the mole in the police force as he begins to unravel all sorts of corruption within the force.

The action slash drama primetime teleserye is based on the famous 1997 film of the same name, ‘Ang Probinsyano’. It starred the late action star, Fernando Poe Jr. While it may seem lengthy compared to the film it originated, ‘Ang Probinsyano’ became a pop-culture reference among a lot of Filipino families. And since it already took up an international name of ‘Brothers’, you can expect optional subtitles to go with it. With that in mind, non-Filipino viewers can join the hype of the show too!

Aside from Coco Martin, it also stars Eddi Garcia, Yassi Pressman, Arjo Atayde, Joel Torre, Susan Roces and so much more. So you better add ‘Ang Probinsyano’ or ‘Brothers’ to your watchlist. Netflix just keeps on getting better!
