ICYMI, Amber Heard was just recently exposed as an alleged abuser of her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, after years of making it appear the other way around.
If you have been on Twitter for the past few days or weeks, you might have seen the hashtag #JusticeForJohnnyDepp trend. It is because regarding the alleged abuse of Amber Heard by her ex-husband, it was revealed recently that apparently, the offense goes the other way around. As reports say, it was the Aquaman actress who was really abusing veteran actor Johnny Depp.
In case you haven’t heard of the audiotape where Amber Heard was implicating herself for abuse yet though, check it out below.
Of course, this shocked a lot of people. First, Amber Heard is an ambassador for women’s rights and an outspoken advocate for domestic violence. Second, we were led to somehow believe that all this time, it was Johnny who was abusing her. He even lost his beloved role as Captain Jack Sparrow in “Pirates of the Caribbean” because of this controversy!
Now, it appears that it was all just a fabrication by Amber Heard. And so, we believe that #JusticeForJohnnyDepp should be given. After all, men can also be victims of abuse. As a petition from change.org says, this certain fact “must be recognized, and action must be taken to prevent a known abuser from being celebrated within the entertainment industry.”
Emilia Clarke as ‘Mera’ for Aquaman 2?
Now as mentioned above, a petition is circulating and currently being signed through change.org where people are asking for Amber Heard to be removed from Aquaman 2. As of writing, roughly 295,000 have signed out of the petition’s 300,000 signatures goal.
Consequentially, a discussion between DC Comics fans is also happening: which actress should replace the role of Amber Heard as ‘Mera‘ in Aquaman? A lot of different names popped for consideration, but one very iconic star stood out — Emilia Clarke.
If you follow popular culture, Emilia Clarke happens to have really already built good chemistry with Aquaman lead Jason Momoa. Because if you remember, they played the complicated yet convincing love team of Daenerys Targaryen and Khal Drogo in HBO series “Game of Thrones“.
Honestly, we believe that the pair would work well, considering how a lot of people – including us! – loved their combination. But more frankly, we don’t really care much at this point. After all, a bigger issue about domestic violence is still out there.
JD: “I had a can of mineral spirit thrown at my nose!”
AH: “Go and tell the world that I, Johnny Depp, am a victim of domestic violence and see how many people believe you.”
Amber Heard is pure evil.
