Spoilers alert!

Who would’ve thought that after more than 15 years, Death Note would return for a special one-shot issue featuring the President of the United States? Yes, you heard that right. Among the most bizarre and weirdest manga crossovers we’ve seen up-to-date, witnessing Donald Trump as a black and white 2D characters is probably the best out there. Even more amusing, imagine if he wields the power of the death note?!

On February 3, writer Tsugumi Ohba and illustrator Takeshi Obata released a 88-page manga, titled, Death Note: Special One-Shot on Viz Media. The short story shows the death note ends up falling into the hands of Donald Trump after its former owner decided to auction it.

As seen from the photo above, Trump wins the bidding and Ryuk hands the book off to him. But don’t get too excited to see since his appearance in the one-shot is only brief as the story focuses more on the new rule created for the death note which is that anyone who buys or sells the notebook will die. So, yeah, visualize Trump’s face after hearing that news.

ICYMI, the widely acclaimed manga, Death Note, of Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata, originally follows the story of Light Yagami, a genius highschool student, whose life was changed upon being the owner of a mysterious notebook that has the power to kill people.
