What if the sword chose a Queen?

Now, we can see a different version of Katherin Langford as she stars in upcoming Netflix drama Cursed. It is based on the New York Times bestselling book, re-imagining the story of legend King Arthur.

Told through the eyes of a young woman named Nimue a.k.a Katherine Langford, she receives a strange gift where she eventually becomes the Lady of the Lake in Authurian legends. After her mother passed away, she went on a mission with young mercenary Arthur to find Merlin and deliver an ancient sword.

To tell you, Nimue will become a symbol of courage and rebellion against the terrifying Red Paladins, and their complicit King Uther. This series will absolutely flaunts plot with  coming-of-age story whose themes are familiar to our own time. Moreover, the cover of the book also turned out to be great and set to be released on October this year.

On Netflix, Cursed will have 10 episodes created and based on the book by Tom Wheeler & Frank Miller. It will also star Devon Terrell as Arthur , Gustaf Skarsgård as Merlin and many more.

In case you don’t know yet, Langford is best known for her Golden Globe-nominated performance as Hannah Baker in the first two seasons of Netflix’s controversial 13 Reasons Why. She also appeared in the movies Love, Simon and The Misguided before filming Cursed, and has a role in Rian Johnson’s Oscar Awardee Knives Out.
