This week’s All The Way Up Dance Competition Judges all play an important part in this competition. And guess what? They surely know which of these new teams are worthy of a spot for the Grand Finals!

The second elimination round will be happening this Friday, August 17, and we’re just as excited as you guys to know which of the 21 new dance crews–six fire team and fourteen squad–will proceed in the coming weeks leading to the finals. Aside from the voting (40%), both fire teams and squads will be judged based on their choreography (30%) and performance (30%). Every week a different group of celebrity judges will take part in deliberating each batch of dance crews.

Here’s what you need to know about this week’s All The Way Up Dance Competition judges!

Kim Rodriguez

Kim Rodriguez joins the long list of GMA artists and has starred in at least 2 big films and appeared in over a dozen TV series. At just 24 years of age, she had already been nominated at the Golden Screen Awards and has won the German Moreno Youth Achievement Award and New Movie Actress of the Year for the movie, Mga Mumunting Lihim at the Star Awards.

Matt Padilla

He has performed as an opening act for international artists such as Justin Timberlake, J.Lo, Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown. Matt Padilla, a professional dance artist and also represents the world renouned group, The Philippine Allstars. He has participated in several dance competitions such as The world hiphop dance championships in Las Vegas, Dance2Dance in Zurich, Switzerland and World Of Dance in San Francisco Bay Area, USA. He also took part in the Disney movie called “Anybody Can Dance” which was shot and held in Mumbai, India. He has been dancing professionally for 10 years.

Rhemuel Loonyo

Loonyo has proven his talent in dancing with a long list of winning title, not just in the Philippines, but worldwide! These include overall champion at Dancestar Philippines Qualifier 2018, champion and best choreography at Dancestar World Finals Championships Urban Category in Europe, champion at Champions Tour Open division 2017, finalist at World Hip Hop International Championships at San Diego California Top 8, and silver medalist at World Supremacy Battlegrounds 2013 in Australia.

He also creates viral dance crazes in the country gathering over five million views across all social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube that currently has more than 130,000 followers! But that’s not all of it as you can also catch him at ABS-CBN’s noon time show It’s Showtime and ASAP. As Rockwell’s leader, he’s also going to be there to judge for all eight elimination rounds, wild card round, and grand finals!

The crews will be rated by the All The Way Up Dance Competition judges based on their choreography’s creativity, technique, synchronization, and execution, as well as their performance in terms of stage presence, energy, individual attitude, posture, and of course, the delivery of their own routine.
