A month short of releasing their seventh album Mania, Fall Out Boy releases a remix of the second track Champion with BTS member RM.
The collaboration we didn’t know we wanted ’til we heard it
The Fall Out Boy x BTS collaboration first circulated over Twitter as “RMxFallOutBoy” trended on the website and got many fans excited. Champion was initially released last June and is the second single on the album. This new remix features RM (formerly RapMonster) of BTS spilling bars in the first and fourth verses of the song. Listen to it below:
Fall Out Boy officially announced this latest team up via Twitter and the track was officially made available midnight of December 15th. True to their image, the band paired the said tweet with a dancing llama GIF, the same llama they’ve been using in their recent music videos for Mania.

RM’s verses complemented the song’s battle cry feel. It’s also a lot more similar to their old songs than some of their recent releases. He has also tweeted his glee over working with the band.

Aside from this Fall Out Boy and BTS collaboration, the korean group has also worked with The Chainsmokers and Steve Aoki on different Billboard Hot 100 tracks. This only goes to show that the group’s talent is world-class.
Despite having such different sounds, FOB and BTS both found something in common: loyal fans. Supporters tweeted out their excitement and love for the two groups.
Fall Out Boy has also announced some of their tour dates in Asia and we’re seriously wishing that they join the international acts visiting the Philippines in 2018! I missed their concert back in 2013 and I vowed to catch them when they come back.
Sugar We’re Going Down, Thnk Fr Th Mmrs, and Dance Dance are just a few of the songs FOB has been famous for. Their album Save Rock and Roll, which was the album before Mania, is my personal fave.
What do you guys think of this awesome collab?
