Fresh from the global success of his smash hit “death bed (coffee for your head)” featuring beabadoobee, Powfu returns for a powerful brand new single.

The hitmaker of one of 2020’s biggest songs is back to bring us another offering via Columbia Records. Titled ‘Stay4ever,’ the lo-fi singer and rapper wants to share messages of hope, love and reassurance for a generation cursed with modern loneliness.

Along with the track comes an aesthetic mood-booster of a music video, which chronicles Powfu’s evolving relationship with his girlfriend. It’s a compelling visual representation of the very message the song wants to convey: the promise of staying by someone’s side through the darkest times.

On the song, Powfu shares: “I hope to inspire people to use their past experiences to help other people who are going through the same thing. Don’t dwell in the darkness but stand in the light.”

See your scars I know just how it feels

Left abandoned by what you thought was real

It’s ok if you don’t win every fight

Know the darkness only comes in the night

But I’ll be here forever

Powfu’s Platinum-certified “death bed (coffee for your head)” featuring beabadoobee has continued dominating different streaming platforms. For most of 2020, the song has been able to maintain its spot in Top 50 Global on Spotify. The monster hit now has over 2 Billion worldwide streams to date, proving itself to be one of this year’s greatest releases.

Powfu is one of those names you would first associate with lofi music. A major contributor to the lofi movement around the world, he has spent all these years recording and releasing music from his bedroom. Now, with almost 2 million followers on his socials, he’s certainly cemented his status as a game-changer in the lofi scene.
