This is probably a little too star-studded for an indie game, but here we go.

American video game publisher Annapurna Interactive revealed on August 24 the cast trailer for its upcoming horror video game, ‘Twelve Minutes.’

Voices behind the game characters include James McAvoy, whom you know as Professor Charles Xavier and that creepy guy with 23 alter egos; Willem Dafoe, best known for Green Goblin in the first Spiderman; and Daisy Riley, whose breakthrough role is Rey in Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens.

The interactive thriller follows a man played by McAvoy, who gets stuck in a 12-minute time loop and must solve a crime of murder.

The cast trailer is narrated by Willem Dafoe, who will be the main antagonist and whose speaking voice is already setting an atmosphere of sheer terror.

Shot from a top-down perspective, the trailer sees James and Daisy as a couple having a romantic dinner date. This event is ruined when a police officer played by Dafoe suddenly invades the house attacks the couple. James wakes up later to himself at the start of the evening– a.k.a the beginning of the time loop– with a terrifying mission to fulfill.

While the game has yet to get a proper release date, Twelve Minutes is slated to arrive for  PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
