We’ve waited too long for this!

Introducing himself as one of the rising pop stars of this generation is Filipino-American artist Dominic Fike, who has just released his highly anticipated debut album, ‘What Could Possibly Go Wrong.’ Launched via Columbia Records, the album houses 14 tracks including his previously released singles, ‘Chicken Tenders’ and ‘Politics & Violence.’

The album release was originally expected to happen on July 31, 2020, but it was pushed back due to the Black Lives Matter protests in America. Dominic Fike had a very good reason for the delay: he wanted to give way for the important conversations that had been long overdue. In a lengthy post addressing his fans, the 24-year-old Florida-based rapper expounded his decision to hold the album a little while longer, detailing his own experiences with police brutality and racism.

Since the release of his EP, Forget About Me, Demos, via Columbia Records in 2018, the singer-songwriter has steadily picked up the interest of music enthusiasts. In September last year, his hit single ‘Nights’ only peaked at #1 on Billboard’s Alternative Songs. He also got to work alongside Omar Apollo for ‘Hit Me Up’ and ‘Phone Numbers,’ the latter of which is hailed as the best Fifa 20 Song this year.

Now, Fike has risen to become one of the great enigmatic pop stars of today. Stream his album, ‘What Could Possibly Go Wrong’ below.
