Can’t get enough with Pop Empire Princess, Mxmtoon?

After releasing her EP ‘Dawn’, we bet that her fans are now excited for the release of her highly anticipated EP ‘Dusk’  this coming October 1st. In line with that, she recently dropped another highlight of the new EP with the song ‘ok on your own’!

In case you haven’t heard it yet, you can give it a listen below!

To tell you, ‘Ok on your own’ is a gorgeous collaboration with the revered and critically acclaimed Carly Rae Jepsen. It features both amazing artists taking turns on verses and harmonizing their voices on the pre-chorus and chorus.

“I was beyond excited to work on this track and have it be graced by Carly Rae Jepsen, someone who stands for empowerment and knows the themes of love and loneliness all too well. My hope for the song is that “ok on your own” can let people know that vulnerability is never something to be afraid of, and admitting you need time for yourself and support from a friend is sometimes a necessary step.”- Maia

Speaking of her ‘Dusk‘ EP, she previously premiered, ‘Bon Iver‘ alongside an accompanying music video, directed by Morgan Gruer as the first installment track for the said forthcoming EP. Looks like Maia is absolutely preparing us for the grand release of her debut album, yay!
