Who exactly is Hamilton?

Alexander Hamilton is one of the 4 founding fathers of the United States. The musical tells the tale of Hamilton’s journey as he traversed a dreary life of a penniless orphan in the Caribbean charming his way to King’s College in New York.

It recounts further on to when Hamilton took up arms for the independence of America and earned him a spot as the aide-de-camp to General George Washington’s army until their victory. Going further to when he had settled down with Emily Schuyler and built a family of 8 children, founded the first bank of North America, helped forge the US Constitution, became a lawyer, went through a sinister sex scandal, ultimately leading up to his death before even turning 50 when he made one too many enemies of men of the state.
