Since surviving the pandemic crisis entails getting through the extended period of lockdown without losing your sanity, we’ve been using much of our time entertaining ourselves with Netflix shows, the pursuit of new skills hobbies, and video games! And now, Sony is offering another remedy for that cabin fever!

Introducing the Play at Home Initiative, Sony Interactive Entertainment is giving away Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey for free to all owners of PlayStation 4. The former is a three-game collection composed of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.

These free games are available for free download starting on April 15 to May 5, 2020. And here’s more: they can be claimed by anyone as long as you own the console. It’s not just for those exclusive PlayStation Plus subscribers, in case you wondered about that. Lastly, once you’ve got the games, they are yours to keep forever!

Jim Ryan, President & CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, said on the blog post:

“During these days of physical distancing, fans have turned to gaming for moments of respite and enjoyment. At Sony Interactive Entertainment, we are privileged to bring this much-needed entertainment. We know this is just one small step and we are thankful to be able to offer this support to our players, our communities, and our partners.”
