I’m already a fang-girl!

Sarah Andersen is the artist behind the popular webcomic called Sarah’s Scribbles, and we just found out that she has a new comic! And all we can say is that it’s fang-tastic!

So if you’re not familiar with Sarah’s Scribbles, here’s a little background. It’s a popular webcomic that’s been around since 2011. It’s a hilarious and relatable comic that touches topics like women’s struggles, anxiety, cats, the struggles of an artist, and just life in general. And although the topics seem serious, her comics never go the way you expect, case in point:

The artist behind Sarah’s Scribbles new comic is called FANGS!

FANGS is a comic about the love story of a vampire named Elsie and a werewolf named Jimmy. Sarah Andersen describes the comic as:

FANGS chronicles the humor, sweetness, and awkwardness of meeting someone perfectly suited to you but also vastly different.

If we had to choose a word to describe Sarah Andersen’s new comic, it would be mature. But not simply because of the context of her comic. But because compared to that of her previous work with Sarah’s Scribbles, her art style with FANGS is simply more mature. And yes, of course, a comic about the relationship between a vampire and a werewolf tends to steer in that direction as well.

To sum it up, as followers of hers since 2011, we’re happy to see her exploring a different art style. But in the end, Sarah’s Scribbles will always have a special place in our hearts. But also check out FANGS today exclusively on Tapas. And we’re fang-fully sorry for all the vampire puns, NOT!
