Neds Declassified School Survival Guide

A ‘Ned’s Declassified’ remake about surviving your 20s could possibly happen

January 7, 2020 Divine Sanchez

There’s never really an answer on how to survive adulting when you’re in your 20s. But it looks like Ned Bigby from ‘Ned’s Declassified’ will be having another survival guide soon to help us out!

It looks like Ned Bigby and the rest of the gang from James K. Polk Middle School are making a comeback after Devon Werkheiser posted on Twitter asking fans if they wanted a sequel to ‘Ned’s Declassified’ last December 3. But here’s the catch–it’s all about adulting in your 20s…

Yup, folks, you saw that right. Ned himself is asking for a revival of this beloved Nickelodeon show and we’re pretty much on board with this plan. And if you’re lost on what we’re talking about, well, ‘Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide’ or ‘Ned’s Declassified’ is an American live-action sitcom about three friends namely Ned Bigby, Jennifer “Moze” Mosely, and Simon “Cookie” Nelson-Cook just trying to pass middle school. The show ended in 2007 after three seasons.

No one said adulting would be like this…

To be honest, ‘Ned’s Declassified’ was a real life-saver back then. And to those who think it’s only a TV show–indeed it is–but it relates to us the best way considering its purpose of being a  “school survival guide”. By watching it, we exactly know what to do when it comes to academics, terrifying teachers, weird janitors and of course, our puppy middle school love.

Now that the show has ended for a few years and all the OG audience are now in their early 20s (including us), we’re kinda lost on how to do this adulting thing and Ned also had a thing or two to say.

Of course, Cookie (Daniel Curtis Lee) also had to join in…

Ned becomes a novelist, Coconuthead goes missing?

So if you’re with us, LET THIS HAPPEN. Devon asked his fans to help make the show possible by sharing on Twitter what ‘Ned’s Declassified’ meant to them back then and why they need a survival guide for their 20s and adulting now.

And it looks like fans are going crazy over this. One user named Mason Tyler (@mason4tado) went on ahead and thought things out for the whole cast.

With this amount of attention they’re receiving, Daniel can’t help but agree that Twitter just did it’s thing and made their job easier. So it would really be a good thing if a ‘Ned’s Declassified’ reboot will happen.

How about you? What is the biggest thing ‘Ned’s Declassified’ has helped you with? And do you also agree we need a survival guide for adulting?
