There are many things to be excited about this 2020, but one in particular more than most!
And that’s all the upcoming concerts happening in Manila this 2020! As most of you know, the Philippines is a small archipelago in South East Asia—and for most international artists is a country that is not as profitable to visit for concert tours, unlike other first-world countries. And so as Filipinos, it is always a treat to watch the concerts of international artists right here in Manila.
So today, on the second day of the year, we want you to get pumped at the prospect of seeing these artists live on stage this 2020! So here’s a list of all the upcoming concerts happening in Manila this 2020!

DJ HYO at House Manila!
The first to hit us with a one-night event is a K-Pop star that’s as bright as the neon lights in the clubs she performs in! You may know her as Hyoyeon from Girls’ Generation, but she has now officially re-debuted as DJ HYO! And she will be having an exclusive set this February 8, 2020, at House Manila!
So be prepared as she brings the house down with her bangers like ‘Punk Right Now’ and ‘Sober’!
Green Day’s ‘HELLA MEGA TOUR’!
Wake us up when this year ends because Green Day is coming to the Philippines this 2020!
♫ Do you have the time to listen to us whine? ♪ Because, iconic American rock band Green Day will hold a concert on March 14, 2020, and WE CAN’T WAIT!
They announced the concert as part of the HELLA MEGA TOUR together with bands Fall Out Boy and Weezer, featuring The Interrupters. We are honestly SCREAMING at our screens right now.

Khalid’s ‘Free Spirit’ World Tour!
Khalid is coming back to Manila this year! And it was announced on December 3rd by Wilbros Live, a local events promotions company.
ICYDK, the ‘Free Spirit’ World Tour is Khalid’s fourth headlining concert tour. And it’s all to support his second studio album of the same name. The ‘Free Spirit’ world tour started last year on June 20th. And now that he’s announced that he’ll be stopping in Manila on April 2, we know that the ‘Free Spirit’ party will continue ’til 2020!
So remember that the ‘Free Spirit’ concert in Manila is happening on April 2, 2020, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. And you can get your tickets right here.

Avril Lavigne’s ‘Head Above Water’ World Tour!
Joining the roster of artists who we should be looking forward to this 2020 is – wait for it – Avril Lavigne! The Canadian pop-rock princess is coming back to Manila for her ‘Head Above Water‘ World Tour. Obviously, we are excited and hyped as hell for this!
After six long years, the pop-rock princess is finally returning to Manila. Bring it on Avril Lavigne, we are so ready for you! Honestly, it has been a long time since we have heard of Avril and we are just glad that she is still out there sharing her talent with the world.
The ‘Head Above Water’ world tour will be happening this May 20, 2020, at the Araneta Coliseum. And you can get your tickets for them right here.
The Wanderland Music And Arts Festival is an annual outdoor festival in the Philippines that celebrates both foreign and local artists. And this is the 8th ‘Wanderland’ music and arts festival since the first one from 2013. And this year, ‘Wanderland’ will be happening on March 7 and 8, 2020.
So check out the ‘Wanderland’ 2020 Phase 1 lineup! And you would not believe that this is only Phase 1, with these acts they could make up for the entire festival!
So without further ado, here are the artists from the ‘Wanderland’ Phase 1 lineup! So for foreign artists, we’ve got Foals, Sabrina Claudio, Raveena, Ari Lennox, Bruno Major, Omar Apollo, Novo Amor. And for local acts, we’ve got Ben&Ben, IV of Spades, Flu, and Ysanygo.
But now, they’ve included Japanese sensation Joji to the ‘Wanderland’ 2020 Phase 1 lineup too! Joji is an Osaka, Japan-born artist. And he is the first Asian to debut at the top of the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop charts with his album ‘BALLADS 1’. Currently, ‘SLOW DANCING IN THE DARK’, one of the tracks from that album has over 289 million streams on Spotify!
Overall, 2020 is off to a great start with these musical acts lighting the way! And since the year has just begun and we already have such a solid lineup, we can be sure to expect more international artists visiting the Philippines for the remainder of 2020!
