We’ve been waiting for two years for IU to release new music! And now the ‘Love Poem’ EP by IU is finally here! We don’t know about you, but we’ve been keeping ourselves busy with ‘Hotel Del Luna’ on Netflix. That, of course, stars the very lovely IU. Although if you haven’t watched the K-Drama yet, you’ll be surprised by how different IU is in it.

So we last heard from her back in 2017, when she released her ‘Palette’ album. And now, after releasing ‘Love Poem’, it stands as her fifth mini-album to date.

‘Love Poem’ Tour!

Although, for fans who are lucky enough to watch one of her concerts from the ‘Love Poem’ tour. We’re sure they’ve already heard all the new tracks in this EP. Unfortunately, the Manila stop for the ‘Love Poem’ tour is already sold out, as the tickets went on sale last November 17. But, hey maybe a friend will sell you their tickets. It’s happening this December 13 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum at 7 PM.

So even though it took IU two years to release new music, she has not lost her touch one bit. Her voice is as angelic and serene as ever. The ‘Love Poem’ EP by IU really does sound like a poem one would dedicate to a special someone. Although it’s quite different from her past pop songs, her new EP is unmistakably very IU.
