Netflix Finally Announced Release Date for ‘YOU’ Season 2

November 12, 2019 Shaina Dulay

The thrilling wait is finally over! We finally know the release date for the Season 2 of Netflix’s psychological thriller series, ‘YOU’.

Like us, did you watch the talked-about Netflix series, ‘YOU’? Did you see how Joe Goldberg creepily stalked and obsessively made Guinevere Beck fall in love? Moreover, were you able to witness how like her loved ones, he eventually killed her in the end? Because we also did and like you, we are hella excited for Joe’s story to continue! So thanks to Netflix because finally, a release date for ‘YOU’ Season 2 has been announced!

Yes, Joe is creepy af but hey, we just want to see how he will be affected by his past actions! Plus, remember the ending for the first season where his ex-lover Candace appeared in front of him? We all thought Joe killed her already but all this time, she was alive?

We really need to know what happens next!

Release Date for the Second Season

The last season was thrilling and entertaining enough as it is. Will the second season be enough to satisfy us though? Bookworms probably already know because this upcoming season was apparently loosely based on Caroline Kepnes’ sequel to her ‘You’ novel, which is titled ‘Hidden Bodies’.

So what should we look forward to for S2?

The second season of YOU will premiere on Netflix on December 26, folks. As you can see above, the official poster features Joe with Candace looking at him from behind. Along with them is a new love interest for Joe, a woman apparently called Love.

Read the season description from Netflix for more details below.

“Season two finds him on the run from Candace – leaving New York City for his own personal hell: Los Angeles. He’s fresh out of an intense relationship that ended in murder. The last thing he expects is to meet an incredible new woman but he’s falling in love again — with a woman named Love (Victoria Pedretti). Is history repeating? Or will this time be the real thing? Joe’s just crazy enough to risk finding out.”

We don’t know about you, but we’re already excited as hell! Now, we have something more to look forward to after Christmas!
