What’s it about?
If you’re asking then the answer’s probably obvious. It involves a lot of basketball. ‘Ahiru no Sora’ tells the inspiring tale of a teenage boy, Sora, whose stature isn’t exactly what you’re looking for in a basketball player. Despite this, he’s not one to be belittled as his basketball skills make up for his lack of height. Don’t believe us? Here’s a snippet of the first episode.
The story unfolds when Sora goes against a group of five thugs trying to rob him. He settles the problem by asking them in a 1v5 basketball match. Seeing his below average size, the thugs fight him head-on. But what they didn’t know is that Sora becomes completely different when you hand him a ball.
Follow Sora as he pursues his basketball dreams in his new school. But there’s only one problem, his school’s basketball team consists of delinquents who would rather beat up people than to play games.
