‘Call Me by Your Name’ sequel to be released on October 29!
Since the release of the film with the same name back in 2017, there has been speculations about a sequel for ‘Call Me by Your Name’.
A lot of people have fallen in love with Elio and Oliver from ‘Call Me by Your Name’. Played by Timothée Chalamet and Armie Hammer respectively in the film by Luca Guadagnino, they have captured the hearts of viewers as they gave life to the characters from André Aciman’s novel.
As a follow-up on Elio and Oliver, Aciman is dropping a sequel to the novel titled ‘Find Me’. It will be out in bookstores on October 29.

According to various sources, ‘Find Me’ is set decades after the first meeting of Elio and Oliver. While the novel updates us about the two characters’ lives since then, it will also focus on Elio’s father, Samuel.
Read the synopsis for the book here:
In Find Me, Aciman shows us Elio’s father, Samuel, on a trip from Florence to Rome to visit Elio, who has become a gifted classical pianist. A chance encounter on the train with a beautiful young woman upends Sami’s plans and changes his life forever.
Elio soon moves to Paris, where he, too, has a consequential affair, while Oliver, now a New England college professor with a family, suddenly finds himself contemplating a return trip across the Atlantic.
Based on all of that, we could assume one thing — the characters will obviously be travelling. Moreover, because of the title and what the sneak peek for it says, it is a “spellbinding exploration of the varieties of love”.
While there has been no confirmed news on a film sequel yet, the director of ‘Call Me by Your Name’, Luca Guadagnino, greatly hints on the possibility of it. In the meantime, let’s watch out for October 29 when ‘Find Me’ will be released in bookstores.
