Mayonnaise celebrates their 17TH ANNIVERSARY!

October 2, 2019 Divine Sanchez

Even time cannot extinguish the flame of Mayonnaise as they celebrate their upcoming 17th anniversary!

Who said 2000s OPM bands like Cueshe, 6Cyclemind, Imago, and many more are things of the past? There’s a reason why they’re called “legends” in our music industry. Well, it’s because they’ve withstood time and continued their glory throughout the years. And now, an OG OPM band is celebrating they’re their 17th anniversary! It’s none other than, Mayonnaise! A big kudos to them!

In case you didn’t know, Mayonnaise was first formed in 2002 but it wasn’t until 2004 when they had their first big break during the Red Horse Muziklaban. Since then, they’ve been generous in blessing fans with their OPM hits like ‘Jopay’, ‘Ipagpatawad Mo’, ‘Tayo Na Lang Dalawa’.

The band’s current members are Monty Macalino (lead vocals), Shan Regalado (drums), Carlo Servano (lead and rhythm guitar),  Nikki Tirona (bass guitar), and Keano Swing (rhythm guitar).

Now, they’re inviting you to attend their upcoming concert titled, “#mayonnaiseventeen: Mayonnaise 17th Anniversary Show”! It will be held this coming November 8, 2019 at the SM North EDSA Skydome.

Hold on to your seat ‘cuz that’s not all! They’ll be celebrating with other talented artists like I Belong To The Zoo, This Band, and Sharlene San Pedro. If you’re wondering how you can attend this much-awaited event tickets are available in all SM Tickets Outlets, and online.

Let’s use this chance to support further 2000s OPM artists, proving that no matter how much time passes–good music is still good music! See you there!  If you liked this article, make sure to stay tuned here on U Do U for our Music Dive episodes with Mayonnaise! Catch it here!
