What could be a lifetime achievement

While ‘Game of Thrones’ already won 10 awards from the Creative Arts Emmys which focuses on the which elements of TV production like cinematography, sound, VFX, stunts, and much more, the show only needs to win three more awards to beat the old record of a show having 12 awards for a single season. And guess which show that is? It’s none other than ‘Game of Thrones’ for its fifth season in 2015!

So only by these awards, the stars and members of ‘Game of Thrones’ can truly say they’ve monumented the series but alas they were only able to bag 2 awards (Best Drama Series and Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series), ending with a tie from their previous record. But it’s more than enough that ‘Game of Thrones’ is the most nominated drama series of all time.

Furthermore, they took home the biggest award of the night which is ‘Outstanding Drama Series’ so their efforts weren’t wasted. And a quick fact, this is the fourth time the show won this award! All in all, ‘Game of Thrones’ has racked up a total of 59 creative and dramatic Emmys throughout the years.

We’ll miss ‘Game of Thrones’ but as the saying goes, “all things come to an end.” The only thing we can do now is to congratulate the team for creating one of the most memorable series of all time! Don’t you agree? And if you liked this article, make sure to stay tuned for more!
