This coming October 25 – 27, ESL Hamburg 2019 will go back to Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg. It will feature 12 teams in the tournament highlight. 7 teams will be directly invited to participate in the competition. While the remaining 4 teams will be coming from online regional qualifiers. And the last one will be from the GG.Bet Hamburg Invitational.
So far, they’ve announced Virtus.pro and TNC Predator among their list of direct invitees. TNC had already revamped their roster, with “March” and “kpii” replacing “Kuku^” and “eyyou”. On the other hand, VP still hasn’t announced the remaining of their roster. But for sure, they will have “Solo”, “RodjEr” and “No[o]ne” in their frontlines.
Aside from the tournament proper, there will be other sideline features for the event. There will be a 5000€ Dota Underlords side tournament. Event attendees can wear their favorite teams’ colors, nick names or logos with airbrush tattoos over the whole weekend! Not only that, their usual cosplay contest, showcasing amazing Dota cosplays will surely blow everyone away.
The English broadcast talents will be composed of Redeye (Paul Chaloner) as host and Purge (Kevin Godec). While Capitalist (Austin Walsh), Blitz (William Lee) and TobiWan (Toby Dawson) will commentating for each game. Whoever wins the tournament will be taking the lion’s share of the $300,000 USD.
