GAMES: TNC.Predator advances to Epicenter Major’s Upper Bracket playoffs

June 24, 2019 Victoria Luz

After being seeded in Group D together with lethal Dota 2 teams, TNC.Predator emerges as the top team, ready to play at the Upper Bracket!

TNC. Predators is doing it! Once more, Philippines’ pride, TNC does it again as they bounce back stronger at the Epicenter Major. The all-Filipino squad was seeded in Group D, together with what you would call an all-out powerhouse stack. But despite being pit against top powerhouse teams, TNC amazed everyone as they emerged as the top team in their group.

Group of Death

Coined as the Group of Death, TNC got seeded together with PSG.LGD, OG and Ninjas in Pyjamas. As a hopeful who’s like back at square one, they seemed to be the odd one out against the 3 powerhouses. However, it seemed that their new tactics are paying off. Because TNC managed to defeat CN’s top team, a former TI champion and a back-to-back Minor champions.

With only dropping one game during the Group Stages, TNC demonstrated that they aren’t the old team we used to know. Thus, earning them a place at the Upper Bracket at the Epicenter Major Playoffs. Packed with new strategies, larger hero pools, and intense clutch plays, they seem to have a potential in winning the last Major this season.

With their new coach, Heen, the boys are showing promise and improvement. Hopefully, their astounding performance during the Group Stages continues up until the Playoffs. It won’t be an easy feat, of course, but everyone is hopeful that TNC can pull it off. They’ll be playing against Royal Never Give Up tomorrow for their Playoff’s opening match.

So far, TNC’s 11th place at the DPC Ranks. With 846 DPC points, winning or placing high at the Epicenter Major can boost their points in hops to earn a direct invite at the upcoming The International 2019.
