Aiming to help brighten the future of the youth, Alitaptap: Aninag ng Sining benefit gig offers a night of good music and art for everyone.

For the second time around this year, Streets to School will be hosting a beneficiary gig for out-of-school youth. Alitaptap: Aninag ng Sining will be slated at Jess x Pat’s in Maginhawa, Quezon City on June 29.

Streets to Schools, a non-profit organization who actively promotes quality education to out-of-school youth. At the same time, they advocate the arts and artistic creations of Filipino youth. Targeted towards people aged 12 to 20 years old, they aim to be a stepping stone to the youth in helping them realize their potentials through attainable quality education.

After the success of their previous fundraiser, they believe that it’s time to step it up. Thus, they organized an event that will cater to people of the arts. Since they will be showcasing different enthralling work of arts such as music and art pieces.

Alitaptap: Aninag ng Sining

The event will feature several rising OPM local acts. This includes the alternative rock band, Fourplay, the four-piece alternative folk outfit, The Ridleys, and the indie surf rock band Carousel Casualties. At the same time, the University of Santo Tomas homegrown bands Padlocked Music and Something About Pancakes will be there too.

They will also be showcasing the artistic creations of the youth! At the same time, before the performances of the bands, there will be a program led by the organization’s heads. They will be discussing and be promoting related topics to education and art. Furthermore, you’ll get to see more than 200 teenagers and bond with them at the event.

Tickets are now available for only Php 350. Ticket purchase will include complimentary food and drinks. All proceeds from the event will be used to carry out future projects of Streets to Schools. You can get your tickets online through Streets to Schools’ official Facebook page.
