GAMES: Team Amplfy releases Dota 2 Roster

June 4, 2019 Victoria Luz

At long last, Tier One Entertainment’s very own Team Amplfy releases their Dota 2 lineup. And it’s definitely nostalgic to see familiar household names of veterans in their roster!

After competing for a few amateur Dota tournaments in the past few months, Team Amplfy finally locked on their lineup. A mix of both rookies and seasoned veterans from the local Dota 2 community, they seem to be off to a great start. Are they ready to take on the world this coming next DPC season?

According to the Team Amplfy’s post, they’ve already secured their final lineup. Team Amplfy will be lead by captain Jio “Jeyo” Madayag, a veteran Dota player for almost 8 years. He played for Evil Geniuses, Rave and Clutch Gamers before. Joining him are Ryo “ryOyr” Hasegawa, the Top 30 Solo Ranked rookie “Abat”, boy wonder Karl “Santino” Jayme and Carlo Chua “BDz” Manalo from TaskUs Titans.

Abat will be playing carry (position 1), while Santino will be taking over the mid lane (position 2). On the other hand, Ryoyr will be back playing as the offlaner (position 3) while BDz and Jeyo play position 3 and 4 respectively.

Their lineup is quite star-studded. All are local Dota superstars that you’ve probably heard. Santino himself is making his comeback and Abat, his debut on his esports career. On a side note, despite the veterans in the team, they clarified that they aren’t looking a win anytime soon. They’re still building and improving their team, in preparation for the next DPC season. Everyone’s hopeful that in the next following months, they can see Team Amplfy in their tip-top shape.

There are no announcements yet on what tournaments they will be participating as of now. But they’re definitely grinding up their skills to be the next rising Dota 2 team.
