After losing to WG.Unity at the OGA Dota PIT Minor, TNC.Predators gets revenge at the Epicenter Major SEA Close Qualifiers.
Last time, crowd-favorites TNC.Predators lost to WG.Unity at the OGA Dota PIT Minor SEA Qualifiers. It was definitely, one of the most unexpected losses of the Filipino team for this season. However, they bounce back and takes revenge on WG.Unity at the Epicenter Major SEA Qualifiers.
In a 75-minute tug-of-war, TNC definitely had a hard time putting pressure on WG.Unity. Despite taking an early advantage with Timothy “Tims” Randrup’s Earthshaker and Nico “eyyou” Barcelon’s Oracle, it was a hard feat countering the enemy team. Indeed, TNC managed to get a headstart in both gold and experience. But the draft of WG.Unity ensures to secure the late game for sure, with Nikolay “Nikobaby” Nikolov’s Sven.
A game of tug-of-war
It was a very tight game. At some point, WG.Unity overwhelmed TNC with sheer power. Aside from having enough damage output, WG.Unity’s heroes were tanky as hell. But even they were backed up to the wall, TNC manages to turn around the tables every single clash. As soon as Armel “Armel” Tabios’ Storm Spirit locked his core items, he managed to micro Nikobaby. It kept him on the leash but still, WG.Unity would put up a good fight.
But TNC had their moment when they were able to push WG.Unity to buyback. It gave them the advantage to push and initiate another clash. With the game reaching the 70-minute mark, WG.Unity’s barracks were wiped clean. And after just a few high ground clashes, TNC destroyed WG.Unity’s throne as they called GG.
So far, TNC is off a great start at the Epicenter Major SEA Closed Qualifiers. They’re at a 1-0 standing as of now.
