FEATURES: BLACKPINK teases comeback

March 27, 2019 Kae Luna

Get ready, BLINKs! BLACKPINK is set for their comeback and the teasers are looking fierce!

BLACKPINK is ready to “kill this love” on April 5. Yes, you read it right! The Korean it-girls will be back after last summer’s hit ‘Ddu- Du Ddu-du’.

As of writing, the girl group has released three teaser posters separately for Lisa, Jennie, and Ji-soo, and let me tell you that these girls looking awesome in the photos!

Lisa is looking as fierce as always.

Jennie with blonde hair! Isn’t she a doll?

And of course, Ji-soo is slaying the game.

This means we’re only waiting for Rose’s teaser poster for tomorrow!

Kill This Love

News has been spreading that this comeback piece is even fiercer than their last single ‘Ddu- Du Ddu- Du’! Which just makes us all even more excited about it. And what more, YG shared that this was choreographed by 4 world-class choreographers, and after waiting for 9 months, we will finally hear their comeback EP!

Okay, it doesn’t actually say in the teaser photos that this is going to be an EP but we rely solely on what YG founder, Yang Hyun Suk, on their YG Life blog in February. The plan was to release an EP album in late March then 3 of the members are to release solo tracks after the EP, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get there. As of now, we believe (and hope!) that this will be an EP with many songs that all of us can dance to.

Expectations

Of course, the fanbase has lots of expectations about the upcoming EP, too! You can’t expect the internet community to stay silent after hearing such big news!

I can agree, Jisoo has always sung just a few lines in BLACKPINK songs. YG is already raising the expectations and we are so stoked about it!

3 down, 1 to go! All three girls have transformed in the posters. We have red-haired Ji-soo, blonde Jennie, and short-haired Lisa. What do you think Rose’s hairdo would be?
