HOTTEST EVENTS: Westlife in Manila

March 25, 2019 Kae Luna

Westlife is celebrating 20 golden years, and they want you to be a part of it!

We hear you 90’s kids, and we know you’re excited! Apparently, Westlife never wants to see you sad  because they are back with The Twenty Tour, a concert to celebrate twenty years of hit songs! And, yes, the Philippines is on the list!

20 glorious years

20 years?! Who would have thought it has been that long? Needless to say, Westlife songs are still timeless. You hear them, and you sing along. You have no choice but to sing because you know every word to it (up to the instrumentals, lol)! To call these songs “hits” would probably be an understatement. These songs were our childhood! Literally the first song I learned on karaoke is “Fool Again”. Listening to them now brings us back to the boy band era when loose pants and mid-part hairstyles were the thing.

Also, flashback to the time when all you need is a Westlife VCD while doing household chores. Well, you’re sure to hear those hits again! The boy band is going to sing most of them in their upcoming concert. The set will include number one hits like ‘Uptown Girl’, ‘Swear It Again’, and ‘If I Let You Go’.

Westlife’s The Twenty Tour will be held at the Araneta Coliseum on July 30! Prices start at Php 1,575 for general admission and go all the up to Php 13,650 for VIP.

  • VIP (reserved seating) – Php 13,650
  • Patron A (reserved seating) – Php 12,600
  • Patron B (reserved seating) – Php 10,500
  • Lower A (reserved seating) – Php 8,400
  • Lower B (reserved seating) – Php 6,300
  • Upper Box (reserved seating) – Php 3,675
  • General Admission – Php 1,575

The tickets are yet to be available on March 30, though. So I guess we’ll have to wait! What is your favorite Westlife song? We sure do hope they sing it at the concert! Let us know in the comment section below. You can also send us a message on our Facebook or Twitter @UDoUPh.
